Community Event: Kids and Candidates (AUSD School Board Candidates)

This in-person event will feature Alhambra USD school board candidates answering questions from the community.  Students from all three AUSD high schools (Alhambra, San Gabriel and Mark Keppel) will moderate the in-person forum. 

The community is welcome to attend this in-person town hall-style event to meet the candidates and learn where they stand on key issues. Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese translation services will be available. No registration is required to attend. 

The goal of the 2022 Kids and Candidates Forum is to give voters the opportunity to meet AUSD school board candidates and provide the candidates with the chance to discuss the various issues impacting Alhambra residents.  


This event is sponsored by Grassroots Alhambra, Alhambra Preservation Group, Alhambra Latino Association, VISA Boosters, and Asian Youth Center.
The general election will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, and will be AUSD's first school board election since the District moved from at-large to by-district elections.  The state of California will send mail-in ballots to all registered voters in early-October.
